History
For as long as they could remember, the Takenaka clan had secretly trained in ninjitsu, putting it to use to protect their clan, their village, and their homeland. Thus Nobunaga Takenaka, Yuki's father, trained her in the arts of ninjitsu as well. When Arima Sumitada, Daimyo of Yuki's village, was tasked with spying on Ido Mato, he recruited the Takenaka ninja clan for the task. So impressed was he with their skills and competence, Arima made Nobunage and his family samurai.
