Family History

The Wishbringer family belonged to the noble ruling council of Inferin and as such, lived in the sprawling Castle Olyrus with the other nobles. They were Mondain's peers, but unlike most of his other peers, they did not torment him. Nevertheless, they remained cool and reserved towards him because of the stigma surrounding him. When Mondain destroyed the ruling council, he allowed the Wishbringer family to live. He banished them from Inferin, but respected their magical prowess enough to keep Marlaina Wishbringer as a hostage to ensure they would not challenge him.

They fled to Clear Lagoon and honored their oath not to raise arms against Mondain, but then Mondain unleashed his war of conquest across all of Barataria. As Mondain's armies marched on Clear Lagoon, the Wishbringers were torn, wanting to help Clear Lagoon in its time of need and yearning to slay the man who held Marlaina, but fearing to bring harm to her with their actions. In the end, their decision was to flee Barataria altogether. They boarded a ship and sailed for Danigar where they would meet with King Shamino and warn him of Mondain's conquests. It proved to be fortuitous because Mondain was not satisfied with Barataria alone and his armies began landing on Danigar. At this point, the family determined they could not stand idly by and they assisted Shamino in his war against Mondain. They were overmatched, however, and Florin Wishbringer was slain at the battle of ..

The rest of the family fled with Shamino and were eventually forced to abandon Danigar as they had abandoned Barataria. They came to Akalabeth and found Lord British already prepared for war, Shamino having sent him warning. They worked closely with Lord British and Shamino, providing every intelligence they had on Mondain. During the war, however, the brothers would be contacted by their former peer, the man they now deemed their enemy. Mondain knew of their family's aggression against his forces. He turned the body of their father over to them and demanded that they betray British and Shamino by leading them into a trap. If they refused, Mondain promised to execute Marlaina. In the end, the brothers secretly revealed all to Lord British and Shamino. They devised a plan to ensnare Mondain in his own trap. They were betrayed, however, by a spy in British's court named Saduj. Saduj revealed all to Mondain and their plan went afoul. Lord British's forces were routed and a spectacle was made of Marlaina's execution on the battlefield. Akalabeth was lost and the Wishbringers were exiled again. Distraught over her daughter's horrible death, Camile Wishbringer sickened and perished on the voyage to Trammis.

In Trammis, Lord British's pleas for unity finally found an appreciative audience. The lords of the great cities had heard of the conquests of Barataria, Danigar, Akalabeth, and other continents, but they suffered their own share of wars in Trammis. Lord Robert DeMecka of Anoteer had his own aspirations of being the overlord of Trammis. The Exiles traveled to all the great cities and found plots to undermine their strength, making them susceptible to Robert's conquest. The Exiles raised an army with help from all the other cities and marched against Lord Robert. After defeating Lord Robert, Lord British took control of Anoteer, renaming it Britain. He then forged an alliance with the other cities, establishing a council to rule, with him at the head. For Britain's representative, Lord British chose Anon to sit upon the council.

The Confederacy of Trammis would hold, fighting off Mondain's armies and preserving their freedom. They would unite under Lord British's banner into the nation of Britannia and they would prosper. Mondain would eventually be slain, but the wars would continue as Minax and Exodus continued to threaten the lands. Lord British would lead his armies to other continents, first traveling to Felsaria. With him went Tandon while Anon remained behind to continue with his work on the Great Council.

British immediate went to war, wresting (Britain Felucca) from Minax. There he established his seat of power in Felsaria and he attmpted to form another confederacy, the Confederacy of Felsaria. He enjoyed initial success due to the threat of Minax and the Shadowlords. A Great Council of Felsaria was formed and British installed Tandon as the representative of (Britain Felucca).
