Introduction
Kirthag began as a no-name barbarian wearing only rags and carrying a battered old sword. Many years later (27 mundane), she is now a Sosarian Paladin - with home and heart to be found on the Napa Valley shard of Ultima Online.
The Character Kirthag was created by the mind of a 14 year old girl adventuring in the latest game - Dungeons & Dragons - as a throw away fighter type of player character (pc). Since those days with the nerdiest club in middle school, the character and the player sort of grew into one being - the person who pens this profile. It is my belief that our most favored of characters are actually parts of our overall personalities - some being the Id, others being the Ego - but all part and parcel of the same person. Different facets of the same gem, if you will.
As an author, this writer uses the pseudonym LessZoa and as such uses this for credit here. However, for familiarity purposes, the user-name will be Kirthag. In Ultima circles, this is the more readily recognized identification than my writing tag.

History
- Basic character concept created May, 1981
- Base level 1 Fighter in Dungeons & Dragons
- Became Base level 1 Barbarian utilizing Barbarian Kit for Advanced Dungeons &Dragons (Ed1)
- In my 12 years of AD&D, this character had a vendetta against the God Set, and hunted him into his home plane where she slaughtered him - thus banishing him from the world she lived then for a millennium.
- Retired in 1993 at some ungodly level. "There is just nothing else to do now..." the celtic barbarian lamented.
- 1993 - Introduction to AOL Roleplay Chat rooms
- In AOL, a member of the RSOD (Rogue Squadron of Destruction)
- In AOL, formed own "guild" SHoW (Sisterhood of Warriors), an all-female union
- In AOL, joined OCS (Order of the Crimson Star)
- 1997 - Left AOL due to personal and real life issues
- 1997 - Introduced to Ultima Online by RL sister. Created the character "Kirthag" on the Atlantic Shard as a tailor
- 1999 - Original (shared) account taken (harsh lesson indeed)
- 1999 - Created new account, with Minerva as a miner/smith on Napa
- 2000 - Kirthag DiOrsae brought to Napa Valley as a straight fighter
- The rest, as they say, is history still being written...
Katerinna "Kat" Syl'vanthi
Elf Scholar, alchemist and mage, Kirthag's own personal biographer. Many books about Kirth's exploits are written by Kat and were lost when WyrmHold (Cove, Felucca, napa Valley) fell.
Lark Kohl
Bardess who was Kirth's storyteller until she was enticed by the darker arts of necromancy. Lark had befriended Kirth's nemesis - the prophet of the Cult of the Midnight Wraiths - and as such Kirth beheaded her onetime friend. However, being a powerful necromancer by this time, Lark was able to resurrect herself - even if she is now a bit unbalanced. Lark has since been abandoned by the Cult she blindly adopted as her family, and now roams what is left of the Bloodwood - her keening echoing through the dead forest.
However, something has happened in the blasted lands, and now Lark is a demon - somehow looking like a gargoyle...
Hag of Yew
Little is known about this woodland witch, except she roams around periodically in the woods surrounding Yew, randomly healing or cursing those she encounters. Rarely seen, but always with some form of menagerie following closely behind her. She is known to sit on a stool at the Yew Gate of Felucca, talking to ghosts (if they are there or not).
The Orchid
All that is known about her is that she can change her form into that of a ferret.
The Black
Darkness permeates this tamer of beasts, even if her favored pets are snowy white. A chaotic personality who will just as soon ignore the world around her but for the pets she collects. Will periodically sell a pet if the price is right.
