Appearance
Tryst is a petite slim woman, but she is stronger than she looks, possessing a willowy strength. She has long, light brown hair and dark perceptive eyes that give her a constant knowing expression.
Personality
Tryst is very perceptive and quick witted, often finishing a person's sentences before they can think up the words to convey their meaning. Tryst is an introvert and a quiet woman of few words, preferring to observe and listen and contemplate all that she hears or sees. She's quite skilled at getting to the heart of a matter and she has quite an even temper. Some have called her coldly efficient.
History
Tryst's mother, Maryse Elanto, was a clerk at the Vesperian Guard and her typical duties including writing reports and helping to keep criminal investigations organized. Her father, Sherett Wanderfoot, was a Vesperian bounty hunter who wandered the realm capturing wanted felons for rewards. The interacted often as Sherett would receive his bounties from Maryse. They engaged in a brief but doomed romance, for Sherett had no plans to settle down. Tryst was conceived and her mother found herself scandalized. Growing up, Tryst was often teased and belittled for being a bastard and so she developed an outer mask of cool indifference to hide the pain within. Her father only occasionally visited and was quite awkward around his daughter. He turned to the only thing he knew and that was his profession, teaching his daughter how to track and how to be aware of the small details a bounty hunter needed to read people and track down one's quarry. Tryst prized these interactions, but they were few and far between, leaving her feeling quite lonely and unwanted by her father. Sherett did provide them with sizable sums of money to support them but Tryst grew angry towards him for her own pain as well as that suffered by her mother.
