The inspiration for Natsumi Saitama comes from the Ultima 6 character images. There were 12 in all, 6 female and 6 male. It is interesting to note the samurai helm that Natsumi wears, even back in Ultima 6. Ultima 6 also had another asian character, the smith Otumo in Yew, further gainsaying those who said that Tokuno has no place in Ultima tales.
