Gods of Virtue

I will rewrite this in a more proper article format, but I wanted to get our ideas down here so that others can make use of them. In our guild lore, we have creates gods of principle and virtue which correspond with the Ultima principles and virtues as outlined in the tables below. In our lore, the gods were first revered by the Evain culture and given names in the Evain tongue. The pharaohs of the Evain ruled by the grace of the gods and were viewed as the voice of the gods. As such the pharaohs were believed to be immortal and when their mortal forms perished, they took their rightful place among the gods. Aritoth El'Bashir was not content with this, however. He sought everlasting life, to rule over the Ultimas for all of time. This caused a rift between Aritoth and the priesthood and they fled to Trammis (that would become known as Britannia) and Felsaria where the built the shrines of Virtue.
In current day Ultima, the knowledge the gods has waned, but the remembrance of the virtues lives on and the god's names are known only as mantras for each virtue.
