Why do Dragons collect treasure? Treasure, in the form of precious metals and jewels, is precious primarily because it has an amazing ability to hold enchantments and magical power. Dragons themselves are innately magical, enjoying instinctive abilities other races must study long and hard to master. Dragons are more aware of the power of their souls, walking the dream world and working enchantments there. The treasure they surround themselves with serves as vessels for their magical energies.
