Appearance
Downing DeKave is a stork of a man, being tall and thinly built. Nevertheless, there's a wiry strength in his arms and his awkward appearance belies his skill with his blades. Downing has sandy blond hair plastered like a helm to his head and his wispy beard makes him seem younger than he is. His voice, which cracks like a boy on the verge of manhood, also lends to this impression.

Downing DeKave was a character created by David Bower for the Ultima 5 game during a time when many of us were working to complete the game, sharing tales and advice with each other as we did so. Downing never did complete the game, however, and so he becomes a Peer of Virtue in our tales.
