What is the Covenant?
It is an underground, secret organization comprised of mainly characters of neutral or evil alignment such as assassins, rogues, necromancers and vampires. Among the general populace our guild is only rumored to exist, inspiring terror and fear at the unknown. Our members might be anyone… a rogue who passes you on a dark street, a raving madwoman who babbles what sounds like nonsense, a lady of seductive beauty who charms those around her or even more public positions such as an advisor to a royal house, a trusted clergyman or a well-dressed businessman. Our members are everywhere throughout the land, and many don't know of their secret, dark membership in this mythical society.
We are masters of maintaining the mystery of our covenant through manipulation and a web of deceit and lies. Our symbol is the image of a black flame surrounded by a ghostly white aura. It is used privately to help members identify each other and as a calling card on assassinations.
