Location
Aedony is a small village of valley elves, half-elves, and humans in the northwest region of Ilshenar. It lies at the end of a box canyon.
Overview
History
Aedony is reknown for its druidic, curative, and healing arts. They trace their roots back to ancient times when Armageddon fell upon Ilshenar. Unlike Malas, Felsaria, and Losalan, which still remains noticeably withered to this day, Ilshenar click was cured of the terrible effects of the spell or perhaps they withstood the spell. The reason they fared better was because of the tree of life and the fountain of life, two special locations which can resurrect the dead.
Physical Description
The valley itself is a lush, verdant grassland with rich soil for agriculture. Much of the farming is done on terraced fields in small valleys in the mountains so as to preserve the natural beauty of Aedony canyon. Only the village of Aedony itself alters the landscape. The village itself is small and humble, a collection of huts huddled together beneath the towering mountains.
